Now that I have done so and reinstalled it, I’m hoping someone on here will know where I’m supposed to have done it.Normally you can uninstall Sims 3 and any of the expansion and stuff packs through Control Panel using the program to add/remove programs. I uninstalled the EP and then it gave me an error message telling me to uninstall the base game completely. where everything else was installed cause I didn’t know where else to choose, but this ended up causing some error where the launcher thought my base game wasn’t up to date. I initially chose Program Files (x85)/Origin Games/The Sims 3 i.e. So I recently got a physical disc of the University EP off someone who had already used their code, making it that I can’t install it within the Origin program like I have with my base game and all other expansion packs (just in case it’s relevant, they’re all installed on an external hard drive and not C:). Unable to install it with Origin and thus unsure as to where I can without ruining everything againĮdit : In case anyone runs into the same problem in the future, just install it in its own folder in Program Files(x85) and Origin will detect it and run it as per normal TL DR - Installed EP within TS3 folder in Origin Games and ended up corrupting everything.
